From Ross...Oracle is a commonly used database technology especially where the software accessing it is written in Java or uses Oracle forms. I have used Oracle APIs and function calls in .net and BI applications. I use PL/Sql Developer from AllRound Automations to examine Oracle DBs to find appropriate APIs to use and query views to find data I want to use.
